AWAKE has done it again. The new AWAKE .01 collection is a piece of art, which has come to stay. Furthermore, the AWAKE .01 is the first watch that has been designed in AWAKE's own lab, and this is just proof of AWAKE`s ambition of making the earth more sustainable.
The dial itself on the .01 collection is made from fishing nets from the ocean, which has been processed in their own lab, and from that an awesome dial has been produced.
The watch strap - Like everything else from AWAKE, is unique. The strap has been made from biopolyester, which springs from the Castor plant, a natural plant which can be found in tropical climates. The clockwork is powered by solar cells, so the more that you use the watch and expose it to the light, the more power it gets. No batteries need to be changed, you just have to use it.
Also the packing is unique, and this just mirrors AWAKE even further. The material used is degradable, and sets no footprint on the climate.
